The Third Call of the ECPGR Activity Grant Scheme was launched on 6 October 2025, with a deadline of 6 February 2026.
Out of the four submitted proposals, the Executive Committee selected for funding the one submitted by the Barley and Wheat Working Groups on multi-environment validation, mapping, and marker development for resistance to fungal diseases in barley and wheat (ValoResWB) and the proposal submitted by the Berries Working Group on a collaborative action for developing trait descriptors for berry genetic resources (BerryTraits). The Executive Committee asked for a number of clarifications before accepting a third proposal from the Allium Working Group.
