The European Association for Research on Plant Breeding (EUCARPIA) will celebrate the 70th anniversary of its foundation on 2 July 2026 with an online event bringing together representatives of international organizations and the plant breeding community.
Founded in 1956 and officially seated in Wageningen, the Netherlands, EUCARPIA promotes scientific and technical cooperation in plant breeding and genetic research, fostering international collaboration and the advancement of plant breeding science.
The programme, which also features ECPGR's Chair of the Executive Committee Jens Weibull, includes:
