The ECPGR EVA Legumes network brings together genebanks, researchers and breeders from the public and private sectors to jointly create evaluation data and knowledge on European legume accessions and make them available for breeding future-proof protein crops.
Within the EVA Boost project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity, we are working on eight priority crops (bean, pea, lentil, chickpea, grasspea, cowpea, faba bean, lupine) and are looking for additional partners who may have the expertise and capacity to contribute to field evaluations or other experiments in 2026.
